The legend goes like this.
Over dinner one night in the quaint seaside town of Bristol, Rhode Island,
Karl Steimle and Paul Muffoletto jokingly discussed the idea of an indoor
golf practice facility.
Shortly after, Karl, Paul and their wives (Linda Muffoletto and the late
Mary Ann Steimle) embarked on a journey to turn this dream into reality.
This meant not only finding the finances for the project, but a centralized
location as well.
It was during a walking tour of the current Eagle Quest property that
Karl Steimle found an old Eagle Scout medallion. From this discovery,
the name Eagle Quest Golf Dome was coined. |
